How do I start working with IXI?

Here’s how it works:

-> Work with a Tuner 

The Tuner who wishes to modify the files must register as a Tuner through the dedicated section of the IXI portal.

Their customer must connect to the car and generate an ID Session in the IXI Suite related to the specific vehicle he needs to tune;

The Tuner needs to buy a bundle of 1, 5 or 15 editable files to be able to send the file to the customer through the generated session (the cost varies based on the ECU – consult the IXI Vehicle List).

Bundles are not tied to the VIN, so they can be used on multiple compatible vehicles.

The Tuner then loads the edited file into the session created by the customer.

The customer can then write the file to the ECU by connecting the IXI device via OBD.

-> Work as a Tuner

A Tuner who also owns an IXI device can independently manage the entire process:

He needs to register as a Tuner in the IXI portal.

Create an ID Session and select himself as a Tuner.

Buy a bundle and load the edited file into the session.

Connect the IXI to the ECU and write the file independently, without intermediaries.

It is also necessary to purchase a bundle to flash the ORI file.

It is not necessary to purchase a bundle to write an update file.

The file uploaded to the session is available to the customer at any time but the tuner has the option to set an expiration date for his file through the Tuner Suite.
